Former Wilson standout Zakiyah Winfield, who went on to star at Glenville State and Buffalo, and played professionally in Germany with Eisvogel USC Freiburg. As she rehabs from injury, she’s focused on giving back to Berks County basketball through her Then2Now Foundation and her third annual camp at Alvernia on Aug. 10, inspiring the next generation of players.

Three players joined Berks County's 1,000-point club in 2023–24, led by Wyomissing’s Amaya Stewart, who finished with 1,904 points—No. 7 all-time in county history.
